From taking a leave of absence due to do financial reasons, where he was studying musical theatre at Pace University, to becoming the the flagship artist signed to NYC’s upstart indie label, Paradice Records, the Florida native has experienced a great deal, in a short time. Soon after leaving Pace University to focus on his craft at 19, Shacar found himself without a roof over his head, no support, just a dream. However, this didn’t stop him from pursuing greatness; in fact, Shacar has found himself through these challenges, and as a result has pushed the boundaries of his creative expression. He started interning at both Hot 97, and the New York based Streetwear brand, EthikNY Clothing Co. Getting roles in Off- Broadway productions: Lost by Keelay Gipson and Orphans and Outsiders by Andrew Garrett. Shacar allowed his determination to propel him. Studying acting since he was nine, he always had the passion to create, the gift to touch people and to express his self in any art form. Being rewarded as a finalist in Walkers Rising Stars competition, he knew anything was possible.Being fearless and needing a outlet to express, he started to create music. Shacar who is now 22 Started his own label with his peers and created a platform to empower, inspire, and heal the youth through song. His music career has gave him the opportunity to perform for the New Skool Rules International Music Conference in South Holland, Rotterdam, South by South West in Austin, Texas, SOB’s in NYC and headlining at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Innovating an eccentric unique sound his music soothes, gives you strength and is a visionary at bringing the world together.
