Kevin Cobb is a Brooklyn based painter and computer artist and recent BFA recipient from the Maryland Institute College of Art. He has been making art for nearly 10 years, honing his representational and abstract drawing and painting abilities. Kevin has a particular interest in exploring perception, and how images relate to reality. Alongside his oil painting practice, he has made artworks using Photoshop and 3D imaging programs. He sees them as providing valid approaches to painting and drawing and opening artistic avenues that are un-achievable through painting alone. He now desires to merge the two practices.
