The Harlem Arts Festival is a free, performing
and visual arts festival that takes place the
last weekend of June each year in
Marcus Garvey Park, Harlem NYC.

On Tuesday, June 21, Make Music New York and Harlem Arts Festival join forces to present Uptown Funk, a series of funk, jazz, & soul inspired concerts at venues throughout Harlem. Neighborhood clubs, restaurants, and outdoor spaces will play host while we both celebrate Harlem’s musical heritage and its makers, and feature younger Harlem-based artists who are carrying on the torch. There will be music to enjoy all day, and it will all be free to the public, as always. The series will be a walking path down FDB and across 116th.

On Saturday, June 27th, 2015 Divinity Roxx closed out #HAF2015 with her genre-bending music is inspired by a mash of Hip-Hop, Rock and Soul unlike no other. Having toured internationally with Beyonce, Victor Wooten, and more, get a chance to meet her and get a taste of HAF by watching the profile video below!

A #HAF2015 standout, DJ Raydar Ellis joined us on the mainstage this year as a headlining performer! Most recently featured on Revive Music‘s acclaimed “Supreme Sonacy” record, check out this featured profile about him and his work. Zulu King Slone
Meet the incredible graffiti artist whose works you’ve seen at some of your favorite Harlem spots. This year he live painted a Zipcar during the festival, which you can drive around Harlem and beyond through our sponsor, Zipcar. Proceeds of the rentals goes towards Harlem School for the Arts. The Harlem Arts Festival presents multi-disciplinary performances in venues throughout Harlem, culminating in an annual festival that takes place in Marcus Garvey park at the Richard Rodgers amphitheater the last weekend of June. Featuring Harlem-affiliated artists, HAF provides the community with family-friendly intergenerational programming of the highest artistic caliber.
